Stalker game zone became more protected. The upgraded animation, retouched special effects and thick stalker_2s.jpgtriangle dynamic models look cool but… slow.

So, the year 2012. You are a free hireling that decided to come here and has to bridge a gulf with some groups and won the regard of the local mobs in passing with complicated plot advancing. The game innovation is the “Zone” a place formed after the explosion where various abnormal phenomena take place.  For example, it can be differently directed gravitational streams 100G in strength. Just go out at the thunder night, look at the shadows made by the grass during the lightning flash and you’ll see what it’s spoken about.
Clear textures, atmosphere effects and the famous day and night change…

Just physically and morally strong people can survive in the hell where a big part of the territory is infected by radioactive wastes and the death anomalies is placed everywhere. But some hours later one makes out in this mechanism. The monsters can move in groups. The radioactive earth is covered by burnt out earth ulcers, poisonous fogs and death gravitation anomalies. We will get the access to the closed location, meet new personages and bands. Well the game is entertaining, but…

According to the new Stalker walkthrough the developers have done loads of blunders and haven’t redeemed many promises.  The Clear Sky is full of the real catastrophe spirit like its original. It has loads of memories of the cool soviet childhood with faceted glass, foundation pits, buildings and etc.

Anyway the Clear Sky Stalker version has corrected mistakes. First of all HUD has changed. We can see the health level, weapon condition and the radiation level at the right corner of the screen. Then comes better combined transducing complex that had a bad functional in the previous game. It shows the current situation at the battlefronts, the tasks, heroes’ statistics, enemy fraction, the resources quantity and the raring place. The map has become more comfortable and informative. It shows the enemies and allies movements, their information and the aim of the race.

To sum up, S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear sky is played, felt and taken as its original does. A half of the developers assurances is a fiction. But at the same time the game has interesting plot and atmosphere.
